Meet the artists shaping the sound of MYSK Music - talented DJs and producers delivering cutting-edge melodic and club-focused electronic music.
A Creative Visionary
Active since 1995, DJ YOVAN has been a respected presence in Montreal's electronic music scene for over three decades, known for his musical versatility, refined taste, and ability to connect with audiences through carefully crafted journeys behind the decks.
After building his reputation in the city's club scene, he expanded into music production between 2009 and 2014, developing a sound rooted in house music while exploring deep, melodic, indie, tech, and Afro-inspired influences. Following a break from the spotlight, YOVAN returned in 2025 with renewed creative energy and a clear artistic vision.
Never one to follow trends, his DJ sets blend timeless house classics with the latest releases, guided by instinct rather than playlists. With a passion for strong vocals, unexpected sounds, and emotional storytelling, each performance reflects over 30 years of experience behind the decks. Throughout his career, he has shared the stage with internationally acclaimed artists including Mark Knight, Benny Benassi, Funkerman, Cevin Fisher, and Pete Tong.
Now fully immersed in music production, DJ YOVAN has entered a new chapter with the launch of DJ YOVAN 2.0. Since his comeback, he has released six original tracks, with many more on the way as he continues to bridge classic house roots with a fresh, contemporary sound.
